20 countries and territories attend VME 2019

• Exports of garment-textile, leather shoes surge 10.5 percent
• Export of wood pellets to Japan to rise

The VME 2019 and SIE 2019 has attracted over 200 top brands from 20 leading countries and territories in technology, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Thailand and the United States.

According to Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam Daisuke Okabe, half of the 1,800 enterprises that are members of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) in Vietnam operate in supporting industries.

He affirmed that Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially suppliers of spare parts and components in supporting industries, play a vital role, helping Japanese enterprises feel secure while running business in the Vietnamese market.

Therefore, the VME 2019 and SIE 2019 would be a great opportunity for both Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises to meet and seek for business and cooperation deals.
