French cuisine introduced to Vietnamese

PSNews - More than 200 French companies will showcase their product at 7 pavilions at the International Trade Fair For Food, Beverage and Catering (ANUGA).

Thanks to the cooperation and support of 8 French regions and 2 unions, French businesses in various fields, such as refined food, dairy products, beverages, bread and pastries, fresh food, frozen meat and meat products, to name but a few will showcase their products at the French exhibition zone.

More than 200 French companies will showcase their product at 7 pavilions at the International Trade Fair For Food, Beverage and Catering (ANUGA).

The extensive participation of the French companies specializing in various industries at ANUGA has once again demonstrated the diversity and richness of French products.

During the fair, French products will be used by Chef Charles Soussin as ingredients for cooking demonstrations. This activity aims to introduce the characteristics of French regional produce and also to create opportunity for French food producers to strengthen their cooperation with international partners.

With their high expertise, creativity and technological application, French food businesses have helped the French agricultural and food industry to be renowned around the world and become one of the top European agricultural and food exporters.

France is currently ranked sixth among the dairy products exporters to Vietnam. The French dairy export is expected to grow 9% per year until 2020.

In 2016, the amount of French cheese exported to Vietnam increased sharply, up by more than 35% compared with 2015. French meat is also a potential import to Vietnam as the export turnover of all French meat products increased 61% in 2016.
