Germany: Huge interest at Fruit Logistica in dragon fruit

Dragon fruit from Vietnam proved to be a huge draw at the international trade show Fruit Logistica (February 8-10) in Berlin that attracted more than 58,000 visitors, according to Vietnam Embassy personnel.

This year was another record breaking year at the event that saw 2,543 companies from 130 countries taking part. Even though Vietnam exhibited only dragon fruit, it was well received and garnered positive perception of the country’s entire fruit industry.
Everything told, several memorandums of understanding were signed that may payoff and help gain market entry for dragon fruit into not only Germany, but the entire EU marketplace, said Embassy personnel.
