Government holds dialogue with European business community

Chairman of the Government Office and Chairman of the Advisory Council for the Administrative Procedure Reform Mai Tien Dung and Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) Nicolas Audier co-hosted a dialogue with the European business community in Hanoi on June 30.

Participants discussed Vietnam’s administrative reform plans in order to make the most of the European Union – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (FTA), due to come into effect on August 1.
At the event, EuroCharm is to make public its Whitebook 2020 designed to provide a concise overview of the issues affecting European businesses in Vietnam.
The annual report summarizes recommendations and important issues the Government should address in order to improve the business environment, and increase trade, investment ties with the European Union.
