Hanoi set to host first furniture and interior decoration fair

The My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi will welcome approximately 100 local enterprises from October 5 to October 14 for a furniture and interior decoration fair, Hanoi authorities told a a press conference in Hanoi on October 2.

The trade fair is set to be co-hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, in addition to the Hanoi Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center.

It is anticipated that event will provide an ideal platform in which local firms can introduce their products across 300 booths and seek partners, while consumers will have an opportunity to get access to additional shopping channels and select products that suit their needs.

Dao Hong Thai, director of the Hanoi Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy Center, said the event will be part of the capital’s efforts to assist associations and enterprises to market their products, strengthen trade exchanges, boost connectivity, and expand outlets, especially locally amid the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
