Accordingly, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group has 9 equitized but unlisted enterprises, namely: Petrolimex Nghe Tinh Transportation and Service Joint Stock Company, Petrolimex Thua Thien Hue Transportation and Service Joint Stock Company, and Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
According to their reports, the abovementioned companies reasoned that they have neither had enough numbers of shareholders, nor had sufficient registered capital to become a public company.
In addition to relatively small companies, on the “black list are also some major companies: the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), Hanoi Beer-Alcohol & Average Corporation (Habeco), Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), Construction Joint Stock Company No.1 (Vinaconex 1), and Vietnam Railway Corporation.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue had requested the Ministry of Finance and Government Office to publish the list of equitized enterprises that had not yet been listed on the stock market.
