Over 500 delegates attend Smart City Summit 2019 in Da Nang
The Smart City Summit 2019 was held on October 23 in Da Nang.

The event saw the presence of Vice Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam and over 500 delegates from various ministries, leaders of cities and provinces, representatives from domestic and international firms.
The Smart City Summit is an annual event organized to promote cooperation, sharing visions, strategies and experience in building smart city as well as discuss solutions to manage and develop smart cities suitable for Vietnamese cities built on new technology platforms such as IoT, Big Data, AI, or SMAC.

Delegates of this year’s summit discussed 4 major topics, including managing smart cities on the basis of data analysis; digital government and finance for smart cities; infrastructure and technology; and applications for smart cities.
Various activities to promote cooperation, such as exhibitions on products and technological solutions for smart cities, business matching, to name but a few, were held during the summit.
