PVEP reviews business and production in 2019
The PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) organized a meeting on December 19 to review its operation in 2019 and roll out its working plans for 2020.

The event saw the presence of Chairman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) Tran Sy Thanh, PVN’s General Director Le Manh Hung, and Chairman of PVEP Nguyen Hong Minh.
On the same day, PVEP officially announced that it completed its production plan of 2019 with the exploitation of 4.33 million tons of oil (crude oil and other products counted by oil value), 12 days ahead of the plan.
Its total revenue is estimated at 35.91 trillion VND, equivalent to 107% of the year’s plan while its earnings before interest and taxes were estimated at 12.3 trillion VND and its earnings before interest stood at 6.35 trillion VND, or 154% of the year’s plan. The company paid 10.53 trillion VND of tax.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh applauded the efforts and achievements of PVEP and asked the company to take measures to overcome all difficulties, enhance efficiency of the ongoing projects given risks and challenges from the oil and gas market.
At the meeting, various individuals and teams of PVEP with outstanding achievements were honored with various awards.
