PVTex signs contract in principle with partners on synthetic fiber products

PSNews – PetroVietnam on July 18 in collaboration with the Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (PVTex) and the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) signed a contract in principle with the Dinh Vu fiber processing factory on consuming synthetic fiber products. 

The signing ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Le Tien Truong, Chairman of Vinatex; Mr. Cao Huu Hieu, CEO of Vinatex; Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong, Deputy Chairman of the An Phat Company; Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of Petrovietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN); Mr. Nguyen Tien Vinh, Chairman of the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation; Mr. Dao Van Ngoc, Chairman of PVTex.

At the ceremony, Mr. Dao Van Ngoc, Chairman of PVTex briefed the participants on the commercial production situation of Dinh Vu fiber processing factory.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Tien Truong, Chairman of Vinatex highly appreciated the effort of PVTex and partners in restoring the production and business of Dinh Vu factory.

Mr. Le Tien Truong also provided some latest information about demands of the domestic and international markets for synthetic fibers.

He then affirmed that the cooperation between Vinatex and PVTex units brings specific economic benefits. Besides, the stable and quality domestic fiber production will benefit Vinatex's textile and apparel businesses and reduce greatly costs compared to imported products.

Mr. Le Tien Truong also affirmed that Vinatex's textile and apparel businesses are always willing to consume PVTex’s synthetic fiber products as long as they are of high quality and at competitive prices.

On behalf of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh once again affirmed his determination to restore production and improve operational efficiency of Dinh Vu factory.

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh also expressed his belief that Vinatex and its partners will continue to support and cooperate closely with PVTex in the consumption of synthetic fiber products.

He also suggested that PVTex and its partner An Phat Group further promote the achieved results while drastically and strictly implementing the plan to restore complete production of Dinh Vu fiber factory.

At the event, a series of contracts in principle on fiber products between PVTex and its Vinatex units and other domestic businesses such as Hanoi Textile and Garment Corporation, Nam Dinh Textile and Garment Corporation, Phong Phu Joint Stock Company, Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company were officially signed.
