VCCI honors 30 outstanding entrepreneurs in Northern Coast

PSNews - The Hai Phong branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) recently hosted a meeting to celebrate the Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13) and honor 30 outstanding entrepreneurs in the Northern coastal region of Vietnam.

At the event, VCCI posthumously awarded the title of "Outstanding Entrepreneur" to businessman Bach Thai Buoi - "the King of ships."
The organizers also granted Certificates of Merit from VCCI's Chairman to 30 outstanding entrepreneurs in the Northern coastal region of Vietnam in 2018.
According to VCCI, the Vietnamese entrepreneurs' community in general and of the Northern coastal region in particular holds an important position in the economy, contributing a major component to the country’s GDP.
Mr. Phi Van Duc, Director of the Hai Phong VCCI branch revealed that there are over 600,000 enterprises nationwide.
The Northern coastal region saw 8,168 newly established enterprises in 2017, with total registered capital of 54,997 billion VND, up by 24.34% in the number of enterprises and 10.6% in registered capital compared to the same period of 2016.
