Vietnam Petrochemical and Fiber Joint Stock Company (VNPOLY) on January 20 signed an agreement with Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Company of Taiwan (SSFC).

VNPOLY signs agreement with SSFC

Speaking at the event, PetroVietnam General Director Le Manh Hung said that the signing would help both sides promote their strengths and take full advantage of the existing DTY fiber manufacturing facilities of the plant.

SSFC is a member of Shingkong, a Taiwanese textile corporation, specializing in investment, services, insurance, finance and banking. Meanwhile, SSFC, which has a 50-year history of development, focuses mainly on production of plastic.

SSFC is considered a promising partner of VNPOLY. Before the signing, SSFC had carried out a careful field survey on the factory’s operation and highly appreciated its production technology and product quality.

Mr. Le Manh Hung believed that the cooperation between VNPOLY and SSFC would be of great success and pledged that leaders of PetroVietnam would support the cooperation.

Eric Wu, on behalf of SSFC leadership, thanked the negotiators for their efforts and hoped that the newly-signed agreement would open more opportunities for cooperation between VNPOLY and PetroVietnam’s affiliates and SSFC as well as between SSFC and other Vietnamese textile businesses.
