Vietnam Aquaculture Expo and Forum 2017 launched in Can Tho

The General Department of Fisheries and the Vietnam Fisheries Society in collaboration with the UBM Asia's Group (ASEAN region) opened the Vietnam Aquaculture Expo and Forum 2017 on October 25, in Can Tho city.

The event drew the participation of over 70 fisheries companies from 20 countries across the world.

The Vietnam Aquaculture Expo and Forum 2017 is an great opportunity for relevant firms, especially 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam to promote their brands and introduce services and products in this field while farmers can update the latest technique and knowledge, market information in support of their production.

Within the framework of this expo, several international conferences on aquaculture will also take place and are expected to draw many local and foreign experts. 

To discuss issues of common concern, such as applying science and technology in aquaculture, import-export markets and sustainable development.

Moreover, the event Mekong Chef 2017 themed "Vietnamese Pangasius/Tra fish Festival and Trade Promotion" will introduce various dishes made from Vietnamese Tra fish to audiences.
