The Department of Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Trade and Industry inaugurated the 29th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2019), at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labour Cultural Palace in Hanoi.
The four-day event includes 600 pavilions of 500 enterprises from 23 countries and territories, introducing a large number of products in different commodities, such as machines, equipment, auxiliary industry, electronics, civil electricity, food, beverages and consumer goods.
In particular, Vietnam Expo 2019 features a special display area of creative and high-quality products from 15 local trade promotion centers of Vietnam.
Participating in the Vietnam Expo 2019, visitors will be provided with updated information concerning the investment environment in Vietnam as well as eight major key industries in association with investment destinations including Dong Thap, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Thanh Hoa, Yen Bai, Vinh Long and Binh Thuan.
A number of sidelines activities will be held as part of the fair such as a workshop on investment promotion for industrial development, a training programme about online sales on Amazon, and a conference on the trade of electronic products and information technology.
