Vietnam and RoK enjoy strong growth in trade
PSNews – After nearly 3 years of the signing of the Vietnam – Republic of Korea (RoK) Free Trade Agreement, the bilateral trade ties have enjoyed strong growth.

In the first 9 months of 2017, RoK’s export revenue to Vietnam has risen 47.10 % while Vietnam’s export to RoK has grown 27.3 %.
The total bilateral trade revenue between the two countries has grown 39%. RoK has ranked no.1 among countries and territories investing in Vietnam in terms of both number of projects and total investment amount.
According to statistics of the Trade Promotion Department of Vietnam Vietrade, enterprises of RoK tend to increase investment in Northern provinces, and the total investment of RoK has risen by 70% since 2007.
The Vietnam-RoK FTA officially took effect on December 20, 2015.
