Vietnam sees 40,000 new enterprises in first 4 months of 2017

PSNews - 39,580 new enterprises with a total registered capital of 369.6 trillion VND have been founded over the past 4 months, according to the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam.

The General Statistics Office of Viet Nam newly announced that the total registered capital added to the economy has reached 825.3 trillion VND, including 455.7 trillion VND of enterprises’ increasing their capital, in the past 4 months.
In addition, in the first 4 months of 2017, 11,545 enterprises that had postponed their operation before have now returned to business. The newly established enterprises have employed 424,000 labors.
All regions saw an increase in newly-founded enterprises compared to the same period last year. The Northern Midlands and Mountains had 1,724 new enterprises while Red River Delta saw 12,028 new ones, the Central Highlands had 1,021; the Mekong Delta had 2,888, South East - 16,546, and North Central Coast and Central Coast - 5.373.
