2017 international firework festival to light up Da Nang

The 55-day Da Nang International Firework Festival 2017 (DIFF 2017) with amazing firework displays, many fantastic art and culture events and entertainment activities is expected to attract millions of tourists to the city.
DIFF started for the first time in 2008. Invited teams from all over the world and the host Vietnam compete against each other in the city. It was usually held at the end of March (2008-2010) and the end of April (2011-2015) on the National Reunion holidays.
This year the event will take place from April 29 through June 24, with the participation of eight international teams including Australia, France, Italy, Switzerland, the UK and hosts Vietnam. Fireworks display will be performed every Saturday night during the two months.
A series of events, including a food festival, paragliding shows and an international music festival, will also be organized during the DIFF 2017.
The event promises to attract two million visitors to Da Nang which has just been awarded Asia’s leading festival and event destination by the World Travel Awards.
