2018-A successful year for Vietnamese beauty

2018 is seen as a greatly successful year for Vietnamese beauties in international pageants.
Vietnamese beauty Bui Phuong Nga was named on the Top 10 of Miss Grand International 2018 in the grand finale held in Myanmar on October 25.
Nga won the Miss Popular Vote title. Her stunning Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) ranks second in the Top 5 national costumes segment of the pageant.
This shot of Phuong Nga achieved a first place finish amongst contestants from the Asian and Oceania regions. Her portrait made it into the Top 9 overall at Miss Grand International 2018.
Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien bowed out of the top 15 of at the finale of the at Miss International 2018 pageant in Tokyo, Japan on November 9.
Despite her failure to make the last 15, the beauty has a positive deep impression on both judges and fans.
The contestant showed off her confidence, beauty, and talent throughout every part of the beauty pageant.
Vietnamese representative Huong Giang was crowned Miss International Queen 2018 at the grand finale of the pageant in Pattaya, Thailand on March 9. The transgender pageant attracts representatives from 28 countries around the world.

Minh Tu finished in 6th place in the final of the Miss Supranational 2018 pageant held in Poland and grabbed several sub-prizes, including awards for Best National Costume, Best Preliminary Evening Gown, and Miss Supranational Asia.
She was also presented with a trophy by Missosology for receiving the most votes from international viewers.

Nguyen Phuong Khanh from Vietnam was crowned Miss Earth 2018 at the finale on November 3 in Manila, the Philippines.
Earlier in the competition, she won a gold medal for Asia & Oceania region in the national costume round and a silver medal in the swimsuit competition.
Born in 1994, the 1.71m tall beauty from Ben Tre province, weighs 51 kg, and measures 90-58-94. She is pursuing a degree in marketing at Curtin University, Singapore. Khanh will graduate in early 2019.
Khanh is the first Vietnamese to win the title.
H’Hen Nie competed in the swimsuit and evening gown segments during the semi-finals. Global Beauties were highly appreciative of her performance and predicted that she would go onto achieve a high ranked finish in the pageant.
 
In the grand finale of Miss Universe 2018 on December 17, H’Hen Nie surprised audiences when she was named in the Top 20, the Top 10 and finally won a place among the Top 5. This is the highest spot a Vietnamese representative has gained in the Miss Universe pageant.
The Vietnamese girl wore a banh mi inspired outfit in the national costume segment on December 10.
