2nd Don Ca Tai Tu Festival kicks off in Binh Duong

After the success of the 1st Festival held in Bac Lieu, the 2nd national Don Ca Tai Tu Festival – Binh Duong 2017 has kicked off. It consists of a series of impressive artistic activities – an investment of endeavors by the Organizing Board and artists.

In addition to promoting the image of Vietnam and the Southern culture, this year’s Festival will serve as a common stage for the folk lovers, and provide a chance to honor and commemorate generations of artists and artisans who have been contributing to the development of this unique kind of art.

With the theme of “Southern folk music Don Ca Tai Tu – Preservation and Development”, the ongoing festival is expected to leave a good impression on both domestic and international spectators with  charming melodies and fascinating performances of generations of artists and artisans, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Ngoc Thien said.
