60 Vietnamese celebrities to join Facebook livestream to fight COVID-19

PSNews – Facebook in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society and 60 Vietnamese celebrities will launch a #SocialForGoodVN livestream on April 17.

Within the framework of the "Facebook for Vietnam" campaign, the #SocialForGoodVN program - Join hands to fight COVID-19 aims to encourage the community to support health workers and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program is set to go live on the Facebook pages of actor Quyen Linh and artist Nguyen Ha My, also known as Sam, from 7pm to 8pm on April 17.

The program also aims to raise people’s awareness of COVID-19, and promote the use of technology and social media to overcome difficulties together.

Besides artists Quyen Linh and Sam, many other famous Vietnamese celebrities such as actress  Hong Van,  actor Xuan Bac, supermodel Vo Hoang Yen, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie, artist Ly Nha Ky will join the program for fundraising purpose.

The proceeds from the program will be donated to the Vietnam Red Cross Society to support the medical personnel and those suspected and confirmed  COVID-19 cases.

On this occasion, Facebook also officially launched the challenge #ỞNhàLàNhất (Staying home is the best measure to prevent the pandemic to encourage the community to share interesting and unique activities at home.
