77 entries for 2017 Vietnam Film Festival
PSNews – The juries of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival (VFF) have chosen 70 films to compete in the Festival, the Film Department announced on October 19.

These include 16 feature films, 26 documentaries, 17 scientific and 18 animated films.
The 20th Vietnam Film Festival will take place from November 24 to 28 in Da Nang, with the theme of “Building up a modern and humane film industry”.The film festival is seen as a great activity to commend the cinematographic works bearing the national identity, humanity and creativity, which were produced and screened from 2016 till now.
This is also an international cultural event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN, while heightening the role of the film industry in promoting the images of the country, cultural features and the traditional friendship and cooperation among ASEAN member nations.
It is expected that the festival will be participated in by about 850 delegates, including domestic and international film leaders, artists, managers, producers and distributors.
