Agarwood hand fans – souvenirs for Senior Officials of APEC 2017

The Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee received 600 gifts, including 100 agarwood hand fans, on February 15th, from Khanh Hoa Aquilaria Crassana Co., Ltd. These gifts will be presented to delegates of the first Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM1) in Nha Trang.

The Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the ideas and products of the Khanh Hoa Aquilaria Crassana Co., Ltd. In particular, all 100 agarwood hand fans have been exquisitely designed and carved in with a sentence “APEC Viet Nam 2017, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa”.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khanh Hoa Aquilaria Crassana Co., Ltd, agarwood is considered “the soul of nature”, therefore the 100 agarwood hand fans represent the aesthetic value and traditional culture of Vietnam.
The 1st Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM1) and relating meetings of APEC 2017 will be held in Nha Trang on February 18th – March 3rd with the participation of about 1,500 delegates from the 21 APEC member economies.
The resort city will also host a meeting of APEC Deputy Finance Ministers and Deputy Governors of Central Banks of the APEC member economies on February 23th-24th.
