Art exchange connects Vietnamese and Russian students

PSNews - The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi on April 9 held an art exchange between students of the Hanoi National University of Vietnam and Kurgan National University of Russia.

The event was a cultural and artistic exchange within the framework of the Year of Vietnam in Russia and the Year of Russia in Vietnam (2019-2020).

During the exchange, students from the two countries enjoyed special art performances performed by students of the Hanoi National University and Kurgan National University.

"This is the first time I have seen students from Russia dancing and singing at my university. They are so active and interesting. Performances like Kalinka dance is so excited and typical to the ‘Russian’ characteristics", Mai Hoa, a fresh girl-student at the Hanoi National University spoke to the PSNews.

In his opening remarks, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov affirmed, "despite the geographical distance, and differences in languages and cultures, the exchange serves as a bridge connecting youths of the two countries.”
