Art performance celebrates 128th birth anniversary of Uncle Ho

PSNews – The art performance “Presents of May dedicate to President Ho Chi Minh” will be held on May 18, at Au Co Art Center, with the aim of marking the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – 2018). 

This art performance is expected to bring audiences a series of famous Vietnamese songs praising President Ho Chi Minh’s dedication. Additionally, the event also includes many other dancing performances as well as popular revolutionary songs.

These songs will be performed by People’s Artist Thai Bao, Meritorious Artist Quoc Hung, sinsgers Phuong Thao, Minh Duc, Ploong Thiet and others.

Ho Chi Minh was born Nguyen Sinh Cung on May 19, 1890, in a poor family in Sen village, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

He was the founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam and one of the founders and leaders of the work fight for independence, territorial integrity for Vietnam in the 20th century.

On September 2, 1945, he read the Declaration of Independence in Ba Dinh square in Hanoi, proclaiming the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

He died at 9:45 am on September 2, 1969, in Hanoi, ả the age of 79 years. Hanoi has received more than 22,000 condolence messages from 121 countries around the world. Many countries in the socialist bloc at that time have organized themselves to commemorate and give praise to him.
