Auction the diamond-studded dress of ‘ the most beautiful woman in the world"

The dress was designed directly by famous French designer Jean Louis (1907-1997), who won Oscar for best costume design, with satin fabrics material and 25,000 artificial diamond balls studded.

On 9th September, Mr Darren Julien, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Julien Auction House based in the city of Los Angeles (California, USA), informed that the diamond dress which is owned by the famous Americans actress Marilyn Monroe's (1926-1962), whom was honorably called as "the most beautiful woman", will be auctioned during the trading session on November 14th with settled range around $ 2-3 million.

It is a tight dress that female supernova M. Monroe wore when performing "Happy Birthday" at Madison Square Garden Theater, at the opening of US President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) 45th birthday celebration, held on the evening of 19-5-1962.

Before the auction, this dress will be on display at the Contemporary Art Centre MANA in Jersey City (New Jersey, USA) from 15th September to 22nd October before taken to Europe on display at the Museum of Style Icon in Newbridge, Ireland from 29th October to 6th November.
