Awarding the literary translation contest “Talented fairy storyteller”

On the occasion of 130th birth anniversary of Russian writer S.Ya.Marshak and 12th birth anniversary of E.L.Shvarts, the Center of Russian Science and Culture organized the literary translation award named “Talented fairy storyteller” in the evening of November 18.

With the support of Vietnamese famous translators including, Hoang Thuy Toan, Le Van Nhan, Nguyen Thuy Anh and the President of Russian Literature and Teacher Association (VAPRYAL) Phung Trong Toan, the jury selected the best works.

Among nine translators, Le Thi Hien from Nguyen Hue high school in Hanoi won the first prize. The runner-ups were Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuyen, a student of Ho Chi Minh Pedagogical University and Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, from University of Language and International Studies, Hanoi National University.
Le Thuy Duong from Hanoi University and Nguyen Lan Nhi, Danang Foreign Language University were rewarded for the third prize and four others were presented for the encouragement prize.
