Concert marks 25th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam-Korea diplomatic relations

PSNews - The Embassy of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam on December 3 organized a concert at the Hanoi Opera House to celebrate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The concert featured performances of famous singers from Vietnam and Korea, such as Ailee (South Korea), and Huong Tram, Bao Anh, Soobin Hoang Son, Min (Vietnam).

The music and art performances highlighted the unique features of each country as well as the similarities in culture and development trends in arts in general and in music in particular of Vietnam and South Korea.

Especially, music lovers also enjoyed the special performance by the RoK talented pianist-composer Yiruma, who played such famous pieces of music as “River Flows In You” and “Kiss The Rain”.

Apart from the concert in the Hanoi Opera House, the artists also performed on an open-air stage at the August Revolution Square, attracting many audiences.

At a press conference prior to the program, famous Korean singer Ailee said she was very happy to be invited to perform in Vietnam and she was planning to hold a live show in the country in the coming time.

Ailee also revealed that she loves  Vietnamese cuisines, especially Banh Xeo (Vietnamese fried cake) and Pho (Vietnamese noodle).
