Da Nang tops Google’s 10 trending destinations in 2020

According to the ranking, Da Nang has won over other famous tourist cities in the world such as Marseille, France or Tokyo, Japan to lead the Top 10 trending destinations in 2020.
As said by Google, Da Nang owns a unique location where neighbors to many tourist attractions of Vietnam such as Hoi An, Hue, My Son.
It is also universally regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the “nature-given gem” Son Tra Peninsula.
Therefore, Da Nang is always considered as one of the most attractive tourist destinations of Vietnam in the eyes of international visitors.
The search engine giant has compiled the list of top 10 trending destinations by examining Google Hotel search data between January and December 2019 for tourists’ travel plans in 2020.
Da Nang is followed by Sao Paulo, Brazil and Seoul, South Korea. Japan’s Tokyo ranked fourth while Israel’s Tel Aviv rounded out the top five.
France’s Marseille, Vienna in Austria, Thailand’s Bangkok, Dubai in United Arab Emirates and Australia’s Perth concluded the top 10.
Da Nang received 3.5 million foreign tourists in 2019, up 22.5% over 2018, with the highest number of arrivals coming from the Republic of Korea, China, Japan and Hong Kong (China).
