Eighteen national treasures exhibited

PSNews-A special exhibition on eighteen national ancient treasures, which have been rated the most valuable among over 20,000 artifacts collected by the Vietnam National Museum of History, was opened in Hanoi by the Vietnam National Museum of History on January 10.

The exhibition is expected to provide visitors with a comprehensive view of the collection, named “National Treasures”, at the museum as well as creates a good opportunity for them to explore untold cultural and historical stories hidden in each national treasure.

Visitors also have a chance to admire the delicate lines and patterns on the 18 national treasures such as the swan drawing vase of the Le So dynasty; Stele of Nam Giao Palace, stone artifacts of the Le Trung Hung times, the fourth year of Vinh Tri’s reign (1679); Canh Thinh bronze drums of the Tay Son Dynasty; and gold seal of Lord Nguyen.

The exhibition also showcases important historical works, such as Nhat ky trong tu (The Prison Diary), Duong Kach Menh (Revolutionary Path) and the manuscript of the Call for National Resistance by President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition takes place from January 10 to May 2017 in the thematic Gallery of the National Museum of History, No.1 Trang Tien Str., Hanoi.
