Exhibition “Tuat Dome 2018” opens
PSNews - Inspired by 12 zodiacs, the exhibition "Tuat Dome 2018" opened on February 2 in Hang Da Galleria to introduce 100 artwork of famous painters.
“Tuat Dome 2018” displayed 100 artworks including paintings and ceremics of G39 painting group such as Tran Gia Tung, Nguyen Quang Thieu, Tao Linh, Hoang Thi Phuong Lien, Pham Tran Quan, Le Thiet Cuong.
On behalf of the G39 artists, painter Le Thiet Cuong shared that his group wishes to create a space that conveys the joy and excitement of Tet, with an atmosphere full of warmth and friendliness shown in artworks related to the canine companion.
In addition, the exhibition also features porcelain statutes and dishes from Bat Trang, the village famed nationwide for its traditional ceramics, situated on Hanoi’s outskirts.
The event also sells items by children, such as li xi (lucky money envelopes), which Vietnamese adults give to children during the Tet holidays as a wish for the latter’s good fortune; flower baskets made of rattan – a plant with a flexible woody stem; and items formed out of bamboo.
The exhibition will last until February 12, at Hang Da Galleria, next to Ngo Tram Street in Cua Dong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, in a joint effort by the artist collective Gallery 39 (G39) and Hang Da Commercial Center.
