The exhibition, themed “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos – Historical and legal evidence”, was held by the Quang Nam provincial Communication Department in collaboration with the Hiep Duc District People’s Committee.

The event aims to raise the awareness and responsibility of officials and people of the mountainous district of Hiep Duc in protecting Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
On display are maps, documents and other printed materials that are part of the historical and legal evidence originating from Vietnam and other countries in the world, including China.

The exhibits demonstrate that the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos have belonged to Vietnam. The archipelagos are an inseparable part of Vietnam that has been closely connected to generations of Vietnamese people, controlled by the Vietnamese governments over a period of more than 400 years peacefully and endlessly in accordance with international law.
The event will run until May 25.
