Exhibition on cultural heritage of ASEAN Community opens

PSNews - The five-day exhibition displays 334 works and 39 items which reflect the daily lives, landscapes and culture of the 10 ASEAN member nations including Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Timor-East, Myanmar, Philippine and Thailand.

The Kon Tum Provincial People’s Committee opened the exhibition of cultural heritage of ASEAN Community on January 1, in the Kon Tum museum.

According to the organizing board, the exhibition is one of activities to celebrate the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 105th founding year of Kon Tum province.

The five-day exhibition displays 334 works and 39 items which reflect the daily lives, landscapes and culture of the 10 ASEAN member nations including Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Timor-East, Myanmar, Philippine and Thailand.

Delivering the opening speech, Deputy Head of the Kon Tum Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thi Nga affirmed that, this exhibition was a significant event, introducing domestic and international visitors beautiful and valuable images of people and countries within ASEAN.

The organizing board also hoped to strengthen the solidarity and friendship of members in the ASEAN Community through this event.

The exhibition on cultural heritage of ASEAN Community will last until January 21.
