Hanoi plans 30 fireworks displays for Lunar New Year 2019

According to the city authorities, there will be 30 fireworks places in 30 districts and towns in urban and rural areas of Hanoi, including 6 high-altitude and 24 low-altitude fireworks points.
6 high-altitude fireworks points will be Hoan Kiem, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung, Ha Dong, and Nam Tu Liem Districts.
Each fireworks show is expected to last 15 minutes. But the largest shows will take place at Hoan Kiem Lake and My Dinh National Sports Complex.
Besides, governmental buildings and public places in Hanoi will also be decorated to welcome the new year.
The decorative lighting systems at governmental buildings and public places around the city will also be under the management of the power sector to ensure power security and safety in the city during the Lunar New Year and celebration of the 89th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3rd, 1930 – 2019).
