The Hanoi Municipal Department of Culture and Sports has kicked off the Hanoi street design contest 2017 on March 3rd morning, aiming to create a joyful atmosphere and new face of Hanoi for major upcoming events and anniversaries.

This year's themes of the contest are "Hanoi -integration and development" and "Hanoi Celebrating Party and Spring".
The winning designs will be decorated in public areas of Hanoi, namely August Revolution Square, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Ly Thai To monument, headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, main streets such as Trang Tien, Hang Khay, Trang Thi, Ba Trieu, Hai Ba Trung, Hang Bai, Ngo Quyen, Phan Dinh Phung, Dien Bien Phu, Hung Vuong, Thanh Nien, Kim Ma and big intersections, gateways and bridges of the capital.
Design concepts should attract the attention of people, and should be creative, impressive in line with modern decoration and design trends. In addition, designs should be highly feasible, with the application of new technologies, suitable materials and colors.
All entries can be sent to the organizing panel in two phases: from March 26th-30th and from August 28th-30th.
