Hanoi to celebrate 20 years of “City for Peace”

PSNews – Hanoi will organize various activities to celebrate 20 years since it was recognized by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as the City for Peace (July 16, 1999-2019).

A special art program to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hanoi - “City for Peace” will be organized at 8 pm on July 13 at Ly Thai To Park with the presence of leaders of the Party, the State and other domestic and international delegates.
Besides, a culture festival will take place from July 13 to 14 with various culture and sports activities.
During the anniversary, Hanoi will also organize other sideline cultural and musical events, such as the Hanoi Trumpets Festival, photo exhibitions themed “Elegant Hanoians”, and “Diary of Peace”.
