Hillary Clinton’s biographer coming to Vietnam

PSNews – French-born-Belgian journalist Christne Ockrent, who wrote about the life of former US Secretary of State, former first lady of White House Hillary Clinton will come to Vietnam to join the talk “The evolution of media and journalism” on March 27th in Hanoi.

According to L’ Espace Vietnam, Christine Ockrent will talk about 4 main themes: the major factors that are impacting media and press; the differences between television, radio and newspaper; social network revolution; and cultural context of global integration.

As a symbol of the women liberation movement and the author of Hillary Clinton’s biographer, Christine Ockrent has published many women-related works such as "Livre noir de la condition féminine" (2016) and "Ces femmes qui nous gouvernent" (2008).

Christine Ockrent (born 1944) is a journalist and writer. She was the first female newsreader appeared on French channel Atenne 2 in 1981 and quickly became an important figure of the French media.  She is also the pioneer in the media feminizing movement.

During her career with her professionalism, courage and persistence, she has held important positions in many media companies in France such as RTL, TF1 and L’ Express.
