How to enjoy Da Nang’s 2017 International Fireworks Festival

This year’s festival will see competitions among 8 teams from various countries, including the UK, Australia, Austria, Switzerland and the host country, Vietnam, in 5 different nights, themed: Fire – Earth – Metal – Water – Wood. The participating teams are expected to entertain locals and visitors with their good-theme and state-of-the-art firework performances.

The main stage is designed as a “floating” one on the Han River, allowing spectators to enjoy high-altitude fireworks enlightening the city’s sky from the sandy coast to the riversides.
However, it would be a good idea to view the show from the 115 meter Sun Wheel of Asia Park building or the SKY36-Sky Bar.
Cuisine and amusement activities
2017 DIFF is not merely an event of firework performances, but it comprises a series of other events and activities happening non-stop in 2 months. Events worth mentioning include the carnival held in the city’s center every Friday night with the participation of various vans with unique decoration, showing the cultural features of different nations joining the firework festival.

The International Cuisine Festival, to feature the 5 basic material elements, will also be held, provoking appetite of every visitors.
The 2017 DIFF, the biggest annual fireworks festival in the Southeast Asia, will be held in two months, from April 29 to June 24.
