Hundreds of tasty dishes presented at 2017 International Food Festival
The 2017 International Food Festival was organized on December 12 at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound. |

This was an opportunity for foreign diplomats and international friends to exchange with local people, enhancing mutual understanding and introducing the tourism and cuisine of participating countries. The festival also offered chance for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their brands to international friends. |
Within the framework of the festival, the organizers presented 200 million VND to build classrooms for Binh Thuan kindergarten, Binh Thuan commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province (the place severely affected by floods in 2017) and 10 packs of gifts to orphans and children with disabilities of the Vi Ngay mai (For the Future) Center. |
The International Food Festival 2017 also gathered in 16 foreign affairs departments of provinces across Vietnam. The combination of the Vietnamese and international cuisine has made the International Food Festival 2017. |
Besides introducing the culture and cuisine of the participants, the International Food Festival also aimed to raise money for orphans, children with disabilities, needy children and poor women in Vietnam. Over the past 4 years, the program has raised more than 1 billion VND. |
