Inaugural Danang International Food Festival to open in June

During a press conference held in Danang city on May 9, Nguyen Xuan Binh, the deputy director of Danang City Department of Tourism and head of DNIFF 2019, said he believes the food festival will help promote the city’s tourism products to the world.

Thomas Andeas Gugler, the president of Worldchefsm was in attendance along with world famous chefs from 13 countries, including Germany, Mexico, Australia, Turkey, China, Greek, and the United States which are all expected to participate in the festival.

The highlight of the five-day festival will occur each night when the president of Worldchefs will choose a chef to cook a particular dish from each country within a special area.

A street parade and an exhibition to showcase tourism products will be held throughout the festival alongside many cultural activities.
