It’s a choir showdown in Hoi An this June 7-16

How sweet the sound will be in Hoi An this coming June 7-16 as young singers from around the globe gather to compete in the fifth biannual choir competition organized by Interkultur.

The event is the largest choir music competition in Vietnam. More than 1,000 performers from at least 10 countries have already signed up to take part with many planning to make DVDs and CDs of their work.
The competition has 12 performance categories including youth choirs, poets, praise dancers, comedians and soloists. The winners will split thousands of US dollars in prize money donated by local and multinational businesses.
The event will transpire at the Hoi An Beach Resort. Fees for admission and exact times will be announced later. Food and beverages will also be available.
