Japanese and Vietnamese students to set for friendly judo matches

PSNews – Within the framework of the Japan – East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS 2017), 15 Japanese students will make a visit to Vietnam from March 6-14 and compete in friendly judo matches.

This programme aims to introduce politics, culture, history and foreign affairs of Japan to Vietnamese youths, so that they can gain a broader knowledge of the Land of Rising Sun, contributing to deepening the mutual trust and understanding between the two countries.

15 Japanese students are scheduled to visit the Youth International Cooperation Development Centre (CYDECO) and Vietnam Judo Federation, and will play friendly matches with the national judo team and other judo teams in Hanoi and Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province.

JENESYS 2017 program is a project established by the Japanese government in the aim of providing a sound foundation for strong solidarity within Asia through large-scale youth exchanges.
