Korea through Vietnamese artists' eyes

PSNews - The first prize of the Vietnam-Korean Fine Arts Contest was awarded on June 27th to artist Pham Thuan with his canvas painting "Elite" (Tinh hoa).
As the winner, Pham Thuan will have a chance to visit the Republic of Korea, and hold an individual exhibition to showcase his artworks at the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam.

According to the organizers, the contest, entitled "Republic of Korea: Traditional and Modern," attracted many painters aged under 45.
This has been as an activity to celebrate the 25th founding anniversary of Vietnam - Korea diplomatic relations.

The organizers have selected 14 best artworks to the final round and display them in the "Korea: Tradition and Modern" exhibition at the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam.
The exhibition runs till July 16th.
