Korean cultural days in Hoi An opens

PSNews - Hoi An ancient town in the opening night was sparkling and fanciful with many types of Vietnamese and Korean traditional lanterns.

The Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with the Republic of Korea Embassy in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center opened “The Korean Cultural Days in Hoi An” on March 11.

At the opening ceremony, artists of the two countries joined a folk music performance together in a joyful atmosphere and with the participation of thousands of local people and visitors.

Hoi An ancient town in the opening night was also sparkling and fanciful with many types of Vietnamese and Korean traditional lanterns.

Vice Chairman of the Hoi An Municipal People's Committee Nguyen Van Son said that over the past years, the number of Korean tourists to Hoi An has gradually increased. 

Therefore, Hoi An city had crafted a plan to organize a cultural event named "The Korean Cultural Days", to make a good impression on foreign visitors in general and Korean ones in particular.

The 2-day event was highly appreciated and enjoyed by visitors with many unique activities such as lantern art layout, traditional art performance, Korean contemporary art performance of Sachoom.
