Mozart’s Symphony No.41 to be performed in Vietnam

PSNews – The Symphony No.41 which was composed in 1788 by Mozart will be performed in Ho Chi Minh City on March 29 evening, at the city theater. 

The concert will be conducted by Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach, a talented and experienced conductor, who is also director of the theatre. 

The Symphony No.41 which is considered one of the three great symphonies of genius W.A.Mozart was composed in August of 1788. It is the longest piece of music Mozart ever composed.

Though he died relatively young at 35, he left us a great of musical legacy in many genres such as religious music, piano, chamber music, opera. Mozart used his natural music to express sorrow, humor or joy in his daily life. Mozart's works deeply influenced classical music and his next generations.

Additionally, artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet, Symphony Orchestra and Opera will perform the prominent excerpts of the play "Der Freischutz" of the famous German composer Carl Maria von Weber.
