Nguyen Nhat Anh's famous novel published in Japan
Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Director of the Trẻ (Youth) Publisher recently announced the news in the program "Learning Japanese from books" in Ho Chi Minh City.
"Toi thay hoa vang tren co xanh" was the second book of author Nguyen Nhạt Anh that has so far been translated into Japanese, after the first book called "Mat biec" (Celestial Eyes) published in 2004.
The film “Toi thay hoa vang tren co xanh” (I see yellow flowers on the green grass) based on the novel, directed by director Victor Vu is also introduced to the Japanese audience at the same time.
Professor Kato Sake said: "Books by Nguyen Nhat Anh feature various aspects of children's daily life. The highlights of his books are typical characteristics of children.. I hope that the Japanese people will have deep understanding of the Vietnamese society and culture through both the film and the book itself."
On this occasion, the Trẻ Publisher also introduce some Japanese learning books such as "Japanese for everyone", " Practicing Japanese language."
