PSNews - Due to drizzles at low temperature, snow and ice has covered O Quy Ho mountain pass in Lai Chau Province and Sa Pa, a popular tourist town in Lao Cai Province, since Jannuary 10's night.
Ice and snow have blanketed trees and houses in Sapa town of Lao Cai province and O Quy Ho moutain pass of Lai Chau province as temperature  suddenly dropped down to minus 2 degree Celsius on January 11.
Over the past days, many tourists have been flocking to O Quy Ho to admire the unusual bout of frost and snow.
Tourists said that the cold and ice phenomenon was due to the blanket of the steam in combination with a cold temperature of below zero degrees Celsius, but there was no snow. After the sun rises, the temperature becomes warmer and the ice melts faster.
