Photo exhibition on ASEAN land and people opened

PSNews - The photo exhibition kicked off on September and is scheduled to last through to September 8. It aims to celebrate the nation’s ASEAN Chairmanship Year 2020, along with the 75th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on September 1 opened the photo exhibition themed "ASEAN land and people" at the Appraisal and Exhibition Center of Art and Photography in Hanoi.

The event presents 200 photos which were selected from more than 10,000 pictures of 1,248 photgraphers of ASEAN member states,

Each image on show at the exhibitions vividly depicts the land, culture, society, people, and economy, along with the co-operation and exchange activities, of ASEAN member states,  including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The cultural diversity and development of each nation can be reflected through the series of photos. 

The purpose of the exhibition is to increase mutual understanding and connectivity among various members, therefore serving to contribute to the building of an ASEAN that is able to boast solidarity, dynamic development, peace, and prosperity.
