Pop singer My Linh to perform at Vietnam - Korea Food and Culture festival

The Vietnam-Korea Food and Culture Festival 2016, scheduled to open in Hanoi on November 11-13, aims to tighten time-honoured friendship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea through cultural and culinary activities.

The event will draw the participation of famous music bands and singers namely UKISS, Pyeon Seung Yeop, Hari Won, and Vietnamese pop singer My Linh.

The three-day event is expected to offer an opportunity for visitors to taste Korean drinks and food at more than 100 pavilions and Vietnamese traditional dishes such as Bun Cha (Vietnamese noodles with pork and herb), Pho (rice noodle soup with beef recipe) and Nem (Spring rolls).

Diverse activities will be held during the event including a dance competition K-POP, folk games, make-up tutorials, film screening and fun games for children at a kid zone.

The event is co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and relevant ministries and departments of both countries.
