PSNews - After 10 days of operation, the tour along the inland canal filled with purple Nhi Can (a kind of Utricularia) flowers in Tram Chim National Park has attracted a large number of visitors.

The purple Nhi Can flower belongs to the Utricularia family, able to grow on low and flooded land, usually together with lotus and water-lily flowers.

By February 21, there have been more 350 visitors coming to the canal. To really enjoy the fascinating floating fields of purple flowers, tourists can choose a full package tour (traveling by tram and boat with tour guide and a 1.5 hour stay in the melaleuca forest).

This rare kind of plant plays an important role in preserving the ecosystem in Tram Chim National Park, while attracting tourists for the beautiful color of its flowers. However, the flower is only in full bloom once a year.
