"Pushkin Party” heats up Russian Language Week 2017

The Russian Language Week, with the first of this kind held in June 2011, has become an important annual activity to promote and popularize Russian language and culture in Vietnam.

Within the framework of the 5-day Russian Language Week in Hanoi, Vietnamese and Russian linguists will join many seminars, workshops on the language and modern Russian language teaching methods.

In Vietnam, Russian language has always occupied an important position for many years, thanks to the growing cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in many fields.

Every year, the Russian Government grants scholarships to hundreds of Vietnamese students to study in the country.  The figure could mount to 953 scholarships in 2017.
