Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam featuring special performances and shows

PSNews - "This is not the first time our national dance team has come and performed in Vietnam. But we have a very special feeling of the Vietnamese people at every visit. You are very hospitable,” said artist Velentina Nicolaieva.

The programme “Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam”, which is taking place at Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi, is seen as a big cultural event co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture of Russia and other relevant agencies.

At the opening ceremony on October 5, Russian Deputy Minister of Culture A.V.Zhuravskiv considered the event a milestone in relations between the two countries. He also highly appreciated the attention of Vietnamese people to the event.

For her part, Deputy Minister of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said, the “Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam” offered chances for Vietnamese people to enjoy Russian cultural values, contributing to giving locals an insight into the traditional friendship between the two countries.

The event runs until October 10 with numerous activities, such as an exhibition themed "Nature of Northern Russia", a concert performed by the Russian National Orchestra and a ,usic dance show by the famous Beryozka Choreographic Ensemble.
